There are currently more than 200 CS WAVE workbenches running around the world.
Over the last 10 years we have been working closely with our end users and deciders to understand their needs and learn from their experience.
Their most common use for CS WAVE worldwide are listed below. The percentages are averages worldwide but greatly depend on the region.

EDUCATION

60%

The CS WAVE workbench is mostly used in the basic welding education with total beginners who are not familiar with welding or who have never followed standards such as IIW.
It helps them to acquire the correct professional motion quicker while practicing in the workshop.
Whatever the organization is a school or a large company with a private training centre, each student can practice on the machine everyday. Depending on the world region and practices, the material savings may vary from 20% to 80% and the training duration can be at least shortened by 50%.

EVALUATION

15%

In schools, the machine is used for evaluation for new entry students before they start the course as a benchmarking for their welding level. It is then used for exams to observe the progress done during the term of the class. This provides an objective result and can be kept in the student file.

PROMOTION

20%

The machine is a great promotional tool for Welding. It is largely used from open houses to exhibits or shows. A demo curriculum offers to the visitors the opportunity to weld for the first time and thanks to the accompanying comments from the demonstrator have a better idea of what welding is.

RECERTIFICATION

5%

The machine is used in training centres or companies when there is a requirement to train professional welders to a specific process for a new work project. This speeds up the recertification process.
