The CS WAVE system differs from other products on the market by many aspects. Built on different technologies, we have also have objectives that vary fundamentally.
We have voluntarily chosen with our professional partners to focus only on the welding motion and not try to emulate the welding environment. We consider that this part of the training must be learned in the workshop. Our system is an educational tool before all with a detailed analysis and a real dashboard available to the trainers.
See below are some areas of comparaison with other systems.
Our system divides by 2 the training duration and lowers by up to 40% the cut of raw material cost compared on the same period. This means cost savings up to 70 % with both parameters combined, which is unequaled.
CS WAVE can be installed in a classroom or an office next to a welding machine with no problem contrary to the other systems which are very sensible to noises produced by industrial machines or light changes. Moreover the system runs immediately without any setup process.
Our machine is all made of metal. Tools are real tools. It is important to us to have a very stable and robust system and that tools look and feel realistic which is never possible with plastic. No helmet is necessary which makes the Health & Safety less difficult to respect if many trainees would use the same helmet.
Our system is not a stand-alone application. All workbenches are connected to the same server, and exhaustive information is shared and analysed on the Control Centre software running on the trainer station. From anywhere (real-time) the trainer can update, control and follow-up any workbench.
The results are saved and the student can use the “replay and analysis” functions on the workbench. But contrary to other systems, a more detailed learning progress analysis is available on the control centre for the trainer. There is also a report alert for the trainer when a student does not learn well.
CS WAVE is the first to propose a feature to create and update curriculums. A IIW standard curriculum is provided by default when the machine is purchased. You can also follow up all students over time and compare their performance against their expected progress thanks to the control centre.
The system is not exclusively designed for a classroom configuration between trainer and trainee, but also it allows a free virtual practice between periods in the workshops. The machine will train students on motion and report to the trainer at the end of the day. He can then check the issue with the identified student the next day.
CS WAVE is available in more than 20 different languages including Russian, Chinese, Japanese, French, English, German and Spanish. But new languages can also be added easily by non-IT people.
For on-site training or demonstrations, we have created the LITE machine; The workbench and Lites can be complementary and be used on the same network.
In all purchases, a 1 year guarantee with software upgrades and ongoing technical support is included. After the guarantee period, you can still use all our software for a lifetime.
